Our company, as a family business, has a long experience in the construction sector. Its history begins at the beginning of the 20th century with the Civil Engineer Spyridon Kavvadas, continues with Char. Kavvadas, a graduate Civil Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens, and reaches today with Spyros Kavvadas, also a graduate Engineer, specialized in the statics of structural constructions and the renovation of buildings (houses & shops).
Spyros Kavvadas, with his many years of experience in Greece and abroad, has the necessary know-how to develop, together with the executives of KAVVADAS CONSTRUCTION, a purely human-centered approach to their construction project. With their constant presence at every stage of the work, they supervise and coordinate the work, while at the same time communicating with you, informing you about the progress and evolution of the project, so that it fully meets the needs of your family or your business.
Our steps: Selection – Assignment – Execution
For our company, every construction and renovation project is unique. We offer a wide range of technical capabilities and skills, supported by experienced and specialized crews, who work exclusively for us.
We undertake the construction and renovation of homes and shops, either individually or as a whole, in any area requested.
An experienced Engineer from our company visits the space you wish to construct or renovate. He discusses with you, records your needs and makes a survey of the space.
We design the space in the best possible way to achieve the best possible result for your construction or renovation. We then invite you to our offices, where we present our proposal, discuss the details and select the construction materials.
We prepare a detailed financial offer for the work. Once we reach an agreement, we establish a schedule for the completion of the work and proceed to the signing of the agreement.
After the agreement, we appoint the responsible Supervising Engineer, who monitors and controls all phases of the project, ensuring compliance with the schedule and quality specifications that characterize our company.
Our team
Spyros Kavvadas / Civil Engineer
He graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Padua, Italy, with a specialization in structural engineering. From a young age, he worked in the family construction business, gaining knowledge and experience that were particularly useful in his later career.
He has worked in Italy and Greece. He has experience in the design, construction and management of large technical projects, such as hospitals, apartment complexes, photovoltaic parks, metal buildings, country houses, as well as renovations of shops and apartments. He speaks English and Italian.
As the main executive of the design and construction team, he coordinates the building permit and special licensing team and has the supervision and control of all involved teams in the construction phase.
Irene Kavoura / Civil Engineer
She graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens in 2006 and from the Postgraduate Specialization Program “Structural Design and Analysis of Structures” of the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens in 2008. She completed part of her studies at the “Ecole Polytechnique des Bridges et Pavements” in Paris.
She has been involved in architectural and structural studies, prefabrication projects, monument restorations and construction project supervision. She is a Class 3 Energy Inspector and deals with energy upgrade issues of existing buildings.
She speaks English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Georgia Tsiboukaki / Civil Engineer
She graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic School of the University of Patras in 2006 and from the Postgraduate Specialization Program “Structural Design and Analysis of Structures” of the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens in 2008. In her undergraduate and postgraduate theses, she specialized in the evaluation and strengthening of existing structures.
Its main focus is the static studies of new building and technical projects, as well as the studies of static adequacy, reinforcement and/or redesign of existing structures made of reinforced concrete, structural steel, load-bearing masonry and wood.
Participates in the team issuing building permits and operating permits for shops, tourist facilities and special uses, as well as in the supervision of construction.
